In short
Open FaxTelecom in your browser, fill in the form (sender, recipient, subject, cover page message), attach your PDF and submit. A confirmation link arrives by email; one click and a countdown of about a minute later, FaxTelecom dials the number for you. No machine, no line, no software.
Equipment required
A computer running Windows, macOS or Linux, an up-to-date browser, an email address you can check right away, and your document as a PDF. The fax machine, landline and modem are replaced by FaxTelecom's infrastructure, which takes care of calling the recipient.
The journey, start to finish
Fill in the form: your name and email, the recipient, the destination country and then the number in national format, a subject and, if you wish, a message to appear on the cover page. Then drop in the PDF, 100 MB at most. If it runs past one page, pay the €3.99 incl. VAT fee by card.
Open the confirmation email and click the link within three minutes. A countdown of about 55 seconds starts, cancellable right to the end; transmission then begins, and the tracking page shows its progress.
Before you submit
A Word, Pages or LibreOffice file exports to PDF through "Save as" or "Export". A paper sheet can be scanned, or captured with a smartphone in document mode, then transferred to the computer.
Check the number digit by digit: once transmission has started, a fax sent to the wrong recipient cannot be called back.
Keeping a record
Took the receipts option (€2.99 incl. VAT, charged only on delivery)? The matching PDFs become available after the send. File them with a copy of the document: you will always know when it left and which number it went to.
